this was written by hand over the past week or so. that is how much this film/play/thing has consumed me. i never write anything by hand. ever.

This is Mark Cohen, from the film/musical RENT.

He is the only main character who is alone, romantically, for the entire film.

And do you know what I realised, today?

He's me. I identify with him so much. All my college friends had boyfriends or girlfriends. I was, basically, the third wheel for all of them. Seventh wheel, even.

i had brief thoughts of putting this on f!s until i realised i didn't want it to be a secret. fail, self.

I am quite fond of the songs that beat us (except I'M IN LOVE WITH A FAAAAAAAAAAAIRYTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALE EVEN THOUGH IT HURTSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS even if he was cute) so am happy with fifth. That and, y'know, last year we came somewhere in the region of 23rd out of 25.

 

Azerbaijan were awesome. I loved them lots.
Not terribly enthused by Turkey, but it was nice.
ICELAND WAS SO PRETTY.
